Alright, so the idea was I was going to say something about each race I'm gonna vote in, one per day, but that didn't happen. So here's a shot at putting my spin on what's happening.
I don't get to vote in this one, but Bachmann is an idiot. Rule of thumb: Never say "I didn't say that!" when it was live on national tv.
Anyway, Al Franken, Norm Coleman and Dean Barkley. I listened to the debate last night, and I think Barkley was the big winner. Seriously, not being involved in the huge Franken/Coleman media fight is the smartest thing he can do.
I'm tired of both Al and Norm. They've been at each other's throats the whole time. According to the MPR tool that tells you which candidate is most compatible with you.... Norm only matches my views on 2 issues (out of like 12 i think). So he's out. Al... well, he keeps engaging Norm in attacks. Norm (of course after doing all of his attacks), wanted to kick out the RNCC and the DNCC and only let each candidate do their own ads, not let anyone else speak for them. Al refused. He had a chance to turn this into a more positive campaign, and ran away from it.
Not to mention, Al has a face for radio :P
Regardless, they're both idiots, as proven in last night's debate. They bitched back and forth for about 10 minutes about each other about the latest campaign issues... and then they kicked it over to Barkley for his opinion, and he said "Well, now you see one of the reasons I'm running".
Barkley gets my vote. And I think he's got a real chance to win this thing.
